Introducing Pentel Calme created a limited edition gel pen in collaboration with Issey Miyake. The Pentel Calme is intended to make writing as comfortable and distraction-free as possible. When compared to normal pens, it has a 66% reduction in operation noise when knocking. It has a long, leather-like rubber grip section that is both grippy and comfortable to hold. It is designed in a distinct and minimalist style, with only lines used to compose a pen construction silhouette but leaving an indelible impression. Its smooth oil-based ink dries quickly and resists stains, making writing more enjoyable.

Great experience!

Design is a 10/10 compared to the normal Calme I love the sleek yet elegant design of the pen and the grip. The smoothness of the ink for a 0.5mm is shockingly smooth (compared to a Pilot G2 0.7mm and Sharpie S-Gel 0.7mm) so 10/10 there, the only problem is that the black ink clicker is a little loose and sometimes requires you to click it again as it doesn't always stay in place the first time, this was only the black and not the blue or red though! Also, love the blue as it's almost royal blue but looks shinier and brighter. Overal 10/10 would recommend!
