Monami Plus Pen 3000 - Vintage Color - Set of 6
Color: 6 Colors
Point Type: Fine Point (0.4 mm)
I gasped when I first wrote with one of these markers. They are that amazing. They have a tiny tip making thin lines. They aren't like other ones where you pressed too hard that they bend the tip. They have a strong tip. The color pigment is vibrant in these markers. I love how they can also be used with watercolor. The ink dries pretty quickly so there is no smearing when writing. A huge plus is they come in a container for easy travel and so you might not lose them as easy. I love these and will be getting other colors.
I use these pens to mark events in a big planner I use to manage schedules for my work organization, and having various easily-visible colors is a must. They're comfortable to hold, have only a couple of pens that are really too light for writing (but would probably be great for art), and the ink dries quickly, so it doesn't smear. I like these so much that I think I need to buy a pack of black pens from Monami, just for everyday writing!
After a disappointing experience with Sharpie fineliners, I went on the hunt for better quality and more color variety and landed on some Staedtler pens. But as I read through reviews and looked at pics that other customers had uploaded, I landed on some comments about these Monami pens. The colors were as rich (if not even more pigmented) than the Steadtler and Stabilo pens I'd been looking at, and these had more positive comments for writing than the others did. Not to mention that these Monami pens were MUCH less expensive than the others.
I was gladly surprised because they are awesome. They have great colors, and the hard tip let me make beautiful thin strokes but I also can do calligraphy in small size, perfect for my journal or to write letters. They don't bleed.
Another plus is that they came with a plastic bin perfect to keep them stored.
Also, I was surprised with the vintage colors, I love them! They are so 80's.
They said that are felt tip but it's flexible enough to use as a brush tip.
I think this was the best find of the year.
Writes well and it's a fine nib, but I'm too heavy handed for it
