Loft Launches “LOFT GREEN PROJECT: Sustainable Beauty & Life” Nationwide and Online

From January 14 to February 28, 2025, Loft is hosting the “LOFT GREEN PROJECT: Sustainable Beauty & Life” at its stores across Japan and on the Loft online store. The campaign features eco-friendly and ethically made products categorized under three themes: environmental consciousness, social and community impact, and recycling programs.

On January 18, a special LOFT GREEN PROJECT exhibition was held at Bellesalle Shibuya Garden, showcasing sustainable innovations. A total of 86 brands (80 booths) participated in the event, including a strong presence from stationery manufacturers and other lifestyle brands.

Pilot Corporation Promotes Eco-Friendly Fountain Pens as Sustainable Writing Instruments

Pilot Corporation highlighted its sustainable writing tools by showcasing long-lasting fountain pens. The exhibition featured the beginner-friendly models "Kakuno" and "Lyteev," along with the dip pen-style "iro-utsushi."

In addition, Pilot hosted a “Fountain Pen Assembly Workshop,” which proved highly popular — all sessions were fully booked shortly after the event began.

 

Tombow Highlights “Pit AIR Fishing Net Recycle” Using Recycled Ocean Plastic

Tombow Pencil Co., Ltd. showcased its eco-conscious adhesive tape runner, the “Pit AIR Fishing Net Recycle,” featuring a refillable case made from recycled resin derived from used fishing nets. This sustainable innovation emphasizes the brand’s commitment to reducing ocean waste and promoting environmentally friendly stationery.

 

Kokuyo Promotes Eco-Friendly “Harinacs” Staple-Free Stapler Series

Kokuyo spotlighted its “Harinacs” staple-free stapler series, which binds paper without using metal staples, making it an ideal eco-friendly office supply. The series has been refreshed with modern color options to better suit today’s office and home environments. At the booth, Kokuyo also showcased creative party goods made using Harinacs, demonstrating its versatility and sustainability.

 

Nakabayashi Showcases “CleLe” Sustainable Stationery Series Made from Upcycled Leather

Nakabayashi presented its “CleLe” sustainable stationery series, made from upcycled leather—including leftover and scrap leather pieces. The eco-friendly product lineup features a flat case, pen case, and spring pouch, offering both style and sustainability for conscious consumers.

 

Laconic and R.G.B (Kloster) Introduce Eco-Friendly Stationery Using Sustainable Materials

Laconic unveiled its “B6C Life Log Diary,” an eco-conscious planner made with sustainable materials — including biomass-based covers and outer packaging, and FSC-certified paper (left photo).

Meanwhile, R.G.B (Kloster) promoted its pen case made from 100% recycled polyester fabric (right photo), emphasizing their commitment to environmentally friendly stationery design.
