The Sarasa series of pens have been the most popular products of Zebra, including Sarasa Speedy, Sarasa Mark on, Sarasa Clip, and so on. On March 22nd this year, Zebra officially launched the new 2021 series - Sarasa R. Today we will take a look at the new Zebra Sarasa R series.

Among the 15 pieces of the new 0.4mm SARASA R, there are 14 colors. (Two black ink gel pens, one with a white barrel and the other with a black barrel). In the new 4 pieces 0.5mm Sarasa R, there are 3 colors (Two black ink gel pens, one with a white barrel and the other with a black barrel).
The overall structure of Sarasa R does not change much from the Sarasa CLIP and Speedy. However, Sarasa R uses a pure white, opaque pen barrel design, which we think is a big upgrade in appearance. The Sarasa R has a simple and fresh look, the overall feeling is very good looking. What is worth mentioning is the black Gel Pen with a black barrel, the entire opaque black barrel of the pen is very attractive and enjoyable.
In the past, the ink of the Sarasa series used Pigment ink, but this time the Sarasa R uses dye ink. Because of the change and improvement of the ink, Zebra claims that the color density of the ink of Sarasa R has increased by 27% compared to the past, and you will write more smoothly when you are using this pen, and the colors are much darker and brighter.
The Sarasa R inherits the smooth writing feeling of the Sarasa series, and with the claimed 27% increase in color density, the black color is indeed significantly darker, and the other colors are also obviously brighter. Overall, the Sarasa R is worth buying with the fact that Sarasa R is a great improvement in terms of appearance and ink.
