Glass Dip Pen - Sakura
Glass pens work well with virtually any ink and are easy to clean, making them a popular choice for testing new inks. But they aren't just for testing. They are easy to use and can write multiple sentences between dips, so they're more convenient for writing than a typical dip pen. Additionally, the glass nib will never rust or wear out, so it can last a lifetime if well preserved.
The dip pen is easy to clean. Rinse with clean water and dry with a paper towel after use. You only need to spend 10 seconds cleaning before switching other colors.
To use this pen:
Dip the tip part-way into a bottle of your favorite ink.
Gently scrape the sides of the nib against the opening of the bottle to drain the excess ink. The only ink left on the nib should be the ink held inside the tiny capillary grooves that spiral around the tip.
As you write, turn the pen slightly whenever the pen starts to run dry, allowing the ink from other grooves to be used.
Body / Tip Material: Glass

This is a fun glass dip pen that I use to test out my ink samples. I got this color and the black. It's comfortable write with and it looks so cute! It was packaged very well, wrapped in bubble wrap and made it all the way from China to USA in 12 days. I will absolutely be making another order very soon. Thank you!
If you haven't tried this glass dip pen, try it before it's gone! It has a lovely spiral design, and a shaft of light pink color in the center. There is a tip cover that is included which I suggest keeping on the pen when not in use to protect the tip, as this entire thing is made of glass. It is easy to clean, and for a left-handed beginner like me, fairly user-friendly! It is a bit scratchy, so if pen noises aren't for you, you may want to skip this one, but for the price, I would still recommend it for anyone interested in dip pens. Great value!
