Small ridges on the inside of both blades help them cut through tape without sticky buildup, as they reduce the amount of sticky material that touches the blades. These scissors also feature a fluorine coating, which prevents sticky residue from sticking to the edges and resists rust and dirt.

Here's a size comparison to my old pair of scissors. The smaller size allows easier transportation of this pair of scissors.
As other reviews noted, I found these scissors sharp so it made package opening quick :D
