This pencil features Tombow "MONO Eraser" and "Shake-mechanism." Extend the lead in two ways: one is to shake the pencil up and down. Another is pushing the clip downward. This innovative click mechanism is very smooth and easy. When it is locked, do not have to worry about accidentally extending the lead. Even when the pencil is shaken, the lead will not come out.

Precaution for Use

  • The eraser is extendable as long as the cap can be twisted smoothly. Twisting forcedly may damage the mechanism.
  • If the lead does not advance, use the clip knock to extend the lead before using the shake mechanism.
  • When the lock mechanism does not work properly, hold the clip with your fingers to lock it.
  • Avoid exposure to high temperature, high humidity, and direct sunlight when storing.

Great Pencil!

I think this pencil is great to write with! Considering it’s 0.5 lead it writes well for what it is. A bit difficult to dispense the lead though, just to note to dispense the lead you should press on the side bar the pencil has. It has this lock feature where it prevents lead from coming out. I don’t use this feature as when you lock it and open it again later, it takes a few tries. Otherwise, it’s a good pencil and I would recommend.
